The call that becomes your competitor's customer.
5:01 PM. A homeowner's hot water heater fails. They dial you first. Voicemail. They dial the next shop on the list. That shop picks up, texts a booking link, and the job is gone. You never knew it happened.
- After-hours calls hit voicemail and don't come back.
- Daytime calls hit voicemail because techs are in an attic, not at a desk.
- Weekend emergencies go to whoever picks up first — rarely you.
- Web form leads sit in an inbox overnight. By morning, the homeowner has scheduled someone else.
Four steps from ringing phone to booked job.
Why Jobber shops pick us.
Questions we get on the call.
Does it actually book into Jobber, or does it just dump a lead?
Real scheduled visits inside your Jobber workspace. Our AI checks the assigned tech's open slots and books the job with the service type, address, and estimated duration. No CSV exports, no manual re-entry.
Can it tell the difference between an emergency and a maintenance call?
Yes. During onboarding we set escalation rules with you — water leaks, gas smell, no heat in winter, storm damage. Those calls page the on-call tech immediately by SMS. Everything else books normally.
What if a homeowner asks a question the AI doesn't know?
It says so and offers a callback — it never makes things up about pricing, warranty, or parts availability. If it's a qualifying question (are you licensed, do you do commercial, etc.) we pre-load your answers during onboarding.
How does the caller know they're talking to an AI?
If they ask directly, our agent says 'I'm an AI assistant for the shop' and keeps moving. Most callers don't ask — the agent speaks in contractions, short turns, and handles interruptions cleanly.
What happens after hours?
Same thing that happens during business hours. We pick up, run the intake, page the on-call tech for emergencies, and book non-emergency jobs for the next available slot. You wake up to a calendar, not a voicemail queue.
How long until it's live?
Forty-eight hours from the onboarding call. We set up the forward, tune the prompt to your services, pricing, and on-call rules, then run a test call with you before we go live.
Stop losing jobs to whoever answers first.
A 20-minute discovery call. Hear a real home-services call start to finish, see what missed calls are costing your shop, and walk out knowing whether it pays for itself.
